Hey, it’s Sarah and Erika. We’re the co-owners of Purple Banana Travel. A modern travel coaching, design, and booking service for families on the move.
We do it a bit differently than most travel agencies – you won’t find any brick and mortar here, and you certainly won’t find any faded posters of Cancun.
What you will find, however, is a values-based travel agency that prioritizes people over profits and community over competition. Oh, and fun! We definitely bring the fun!

Hi, I’m Sarah! Midwesterner at heart who now calls South Carolina home, I’m building the life of my dreams with my four kiddos. Empowering and equipping others to do the same (especially women) is at the core of my calling as a business owner and travel coach.
I was probably born in the wrong century:
- please don’t text me – pick up the phone and let’s talk!
- reading a paperback novel will always feel better than an e-reader
- classical music (especially Italian opera) is frequently on my playlist
- sending handwritten notes to people I love is one of my superpowers
Our family has mastered the art of filling vacations with experiences not easily forgotten – from special meals in our favorite Disney World restaurants to jumping off sailboats in Lake Huron – that’s a story for another day!.
If I could travel anywhere in the world, I’d want to be on the beaches of Negril, Jamaica, watching the sun set with the people I love most!

Hey, I’m Erika. Born and raised in Central Florida, I love travel, the theme park lifestyle, and empowering women to be BOLDLY BRILLIANT. My husband, Brian, and I have one daughter (age 10).
When we’re not at the theme parks or cruising in the Caribbean, we love going to watch live sports (literally any sport).
I’m high energy, witty, and create community on my instagram page by being vulnerable and radically authentic. I have a moderate addiction to chicken tenders and no matter the time or place, you can pick me out in the crowd because I’m the one dancing (music optional).
I encourage women to embrace their flaws and live their truth unapologetically.
